Special Message

Every student of Self-Realization–of all centers everywhere–who wishes to attain final emancipation should be connected with Self-Realization Headquarters directly by taking the priceless Self-Realization praecepta lessons sent out every week.  These studies will enable you to find the secret door of your Soul–through which you can sense the presence of great gurus and Christ waiting to introduce you to the Infinite.  “None can come unto me unless the heavenly Father draweth him.”  The heavenly Father can be reached only through His chosen messengers–such as Christ and the great gurus.

One who has even a faint desire to know God finds that books and teachers are mysteriously thrown in his path.  But when the devotional flame in the devotee’s heart is fully roused, then God arranges to draw him to his kingdom through a real guru-preceptor who perceives him.  The blind cannot lead the blind.  Only a true guru can can lead the devotee–one who so loves God that, oblivious to himself, his only desire is to establish God in true disciples who come unto him sent by the heavenly Father.

This is not an age in which earnest seekers will find satisfaction merely by listening to spiritual sermons.  They must learn to perceive God through Kriya Yoga, given through the link of the guru-preceptors.

  1. Having studied the lessons when I came on the path in the early 1970’s, I then put them aside and read the quarterly SRF magazine and Master’s books I then put them aside and read SRF Magazine and, and listened to SRF recordings for inspiration.

It wasn’t until last year that I turned to the lessons again; now I’m reading them through, one lesson each morning. It’s as though they are entirely new, and I never saw them before. There is no sense of boredom upon second reading, as one experiences with ordinary works. In fact, I don’t believe I was as excited as I am now when I read the lessons the first time.

I know that excitment is the culmination of many years on the spiritual path and an enlarged ability to appreciate concepts previously unrecognizable. I enjoyed this same excitement over the past few years on first reading “God talks with Arjuna” and “The Second Coming of Christ”. But re reading the Lessons has added the rebar to the cement of my relationship with Guruji.
