I just visited Encinitas for a few days, taking time off from long haul trucking. This story was told to me by Brother Ramanandaji as we took a walk:
A local SRF member (K.K.) who is an alternative health doctor received a new patient who was suffering from aches and pains, and nothing seemed to help her. He did his best to treat her, and then mentioned, “Have you ever been to the SRF Meditation Gardens?” She said no, but was intrigued.
On her next visit to Dr. K, she told him that she had visited the gardens, and that something very strange happened. A man was going around touching everyone on the forehead, and a security guard didn’t do anything about it. The man came up to her, touched her on the forehead, and her pains were gone. Dr. K found a copy of Autobiography of a Yogi, showed her the cover, and she said, “That’s him!”
